Make no mistake about it; this is an anti-workers agenda for corporations to destroy collective bargaining, the best protection of wages and benefits for workers. Their goal is reduce taxes for corporate America and have the working class pick up the load while they reap the profits. They work behind the scenes drafting bills in the cloak of darkness and pass them on to legislators to sign and push through state houses across the country. While workers sleep, our rights are being eroded by lobbyists and lawyers working for the rich, they don’t have the votes, but they have the money to draft the laws. These ghost-writers are shaping the direction of American across the Nation and not in the interests of workers rights. |

Public Pressure Re-Opens Indiana Statehouse Doors |

Caving into intense public pressure, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) this morning rescinded an order that would have barred thousands of Hoosiers from the statehouse as the legislature considers a so-called right to work bill. Doors are open and workers are streaming in, with lines of people wrapped around the block. |
