The Supreme Court recently determined that corporations are entitled to freedom of speech because they are legally persons. The ramifications of this decision, Citizens United v. Federal Elections Commission, cannot be overstated:  it introduces an entirely new and untapped population into the dating pool. In other words, "Corporations are people too.”

District 3 CWA Members Vote Down BellSouth Contract

Members of Communications Workers of America, AT&T Southeast, did not approve a new three year contract covering 30,000 plus workers in nine states. Of the votes cast against ratification the results were; No-60%, Yes-40%.

Georgia AT&T Technician Killed in Cable Winding Accident

CWA is investigating the accidental death of Local 3212 member William Britt Hunt, 39, an AT&T technician from Summerville, Ga., who was killed Jan. 13 when he became entangled in wires being rolled up by his truck's spindle.
